ECDC co-founder and choreographer honored by Arts Council of Greater New Haven
ECDC co-founder and choreographer, Kellie Ann Lynch, was recognized for her work in the New Haven dance community at The Arts Council of Greater New Haven's 2014 Arts Awards. Kellie was one of five community members honored at the luncheon, which was held on December 5th at the New Haven Lawn Club. The theme for 2014's awards was "Small City, Big Arts," "a nod to creativity’s ability to transcend geography and offer boundless inspiration," as the Arts Council describes the event. As she took the podium, Kellie noted that, in New Haven, people know that “it only takes an individual to plant an idea, but it takes a community to realize it.” ECDC seeks to expand the presence of dance in New Haven and would like to thank the Arts Council for its generous and continued support of arts in New Haven.
Kellie Ann Lynch accepts an award from the Arts Council of Greater New Haven at the 2014 Arts Awards.
