Elm City Dance Collective and New Haven Pride Center will collaborate on a month-long process & performance workshop with a community of trans-identified people, non-dancers and dancers alike, to explore meaning, making and movement within the context of transgender identity, history and corporeality. The project asked the questions: How do we embody and perform our own history? How do we tell stories about ourselves through movement? How can we express trans-identity through dance?

We are looking for 10-15 trans-identified people to participate in the creation and performance of work. Participants will be asked to attend three exploratory rehearsals and one performance. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
